About Us

Ethical Workwear will help you achieve best practice in selecting sustainable and moral clothing for your work force.

In providing garments with comfort, style and durability for you and your employees, we also value the health happiness and wellbeing of the people that manufacture them.

With a background as a high street buyer in the UK textile industry, Joanna Dale founded Ethical workwear, when the floods of 2007 destroyed her original workwear business in Tewkesbury Gloucestershire.

As an environmentalist, this personal experience further endorsed the fact that our resources and communities are precious and Ethical Workwear was born from this ethos.

In 2009 the company was chosen as the workwear supplier for Defra’s carbon reduction program (The blue print of how sustainable a UK company can be) and were one of the first companies to introduce organic and fair trade workwear.

The Company is now an award winning mother and daughter family business run by Joanna and her daughter Olivia Hutchins, proudly supplying likeminded customers including many household names.

The offices are still based in Tewkesbury with embroidery and distribution in Shropshire.
