The green hard hat? this is no different from any quality head protection, but this is manufactured in the UK and carries a reminder to recycle it. Head protection must be regularly replaced to comply and most are thrown away. Made of HDPE (High density polyethylene) hard hats can, and should be recycled. Conforms to EN397
